FLAMEFAST GASGUARD™ MANUAL GAS ISOLATING SYSTEM
A proven method for gas isolation the GasGuard™ Manual System is quick and easy to install and provides basic non proving isolation while at the same time giving the versatility of interfaces provided with the other Flamefast GasGuard™ systems such as remote stop, extraction system interlock and fire alarm.
The system is an extremely effective solution for BS6173 where gas proving is not required as Flame failure is present on devices and remaining pipe work is considered sufficiently safe.
The system consists of a wall mounted control panel and automatic solenoid. The system only requires a 240v supply. The solenoid is powered by the control panel and requires only a three core cable. A further two wires are required to interface with a Flamefast extraction flow sensor.
Operation
Turning the keyswitch will give gas immediately and this is indicated on the front of the panel. Any of the external interfaces such as the fire alarm being energised or the extraction system turning off will switch the system off automatically. The system then needs to be reset by operating the keyswitch.
System Standard Features
Remote Emergency Stop Button
Additional Emergency Stops can be fitted remotely to the control
panel to isolate the gas supply immediately in the event of an
emergency.
Fire Alarm
The Gasguard™ system has a Fire Alarm interface fitted as standard.
Extraction Systems BS6173
The system can easily be interfaced to a kitchen extraction system using a Flamefast differential pressure switch.
Options
Actuator
The actuator can be supplied fully enclosed and tamper proof if required.
Extraction Pressure Switch
Separate Pressure Switches are available if extraction interfaces are required.
