Workshop Configuration

Detailed floorplans are created in CAD or REVIT 3D (BIM 2 Compliant), to optimise work space so you can see your "virtual" workshop come to life in both 2D and 3D formats. Before Flamefast get started with the installation, final drawings will be submitted with amendments if needed for client approval and sign off.


Flamefast will always include "safe working areas" for all equipment items as theses dimensions are critical for FF& E contractors, architects and consultants in preparing and ensuring workshop/tech room layouts comply with current stautory regulations especially DFES Building Bulletin 81.

Mechanical & Electrical

Mechanical and electrical specifications ensure that your workshop will meet the necessary standards in terms of electrical phyase & loading, type of connection, machine weight, fume & dust extraction needs and gas flow rates whilst conforming to current PUWER 98 (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998) Regulations.


Flamefast will supply, data sheets and CAD layout drawings showing specifications, loadings and exact locations for Data points, Air & Gas connection points as well as Electrical fused spurs and/or Isolator boxes which will assist the M&E Contractor in completing their service site requirements.
